More and more Professional Valeters and Fleet Operators see the obvious cost advantages
to using Hyper Concentrate TFR’s over traditional (pre-diluted) Traffic Film Removers.
Hyper Concentrate TFR’s are not a new concept, but until now, have only been available
to Distributors of Cleaning Products who buy their TFR in Hyper Concentrate format,
dilute and then sell on to the end user.
Previously, problems would occur (usually with the finished chemical ‘splitting’
so the base product sank to the bottom and water to the top!) due to the ‘instability’
of the product so was not suitable to market directly to end users.
With the recent advancement in chemical technology, there are now Hyper Concentrates
Available with greater stability features enabling end user clients to mix their
own Traffic Film Removers on site with the obvious cost benefits.
Whilst obvious cost benefits include smaller containers and less transport costs,
the energy and man-power to produce hyper concentrates is much lower than bulk ‘diluted’
A good quality Hyper Concentrate can be mixed down from 1:5 to 1:25 to make a good
quality TFR for use via a pressure washer. A mix of 1:100 can be achieved if ‘pre-spraying’
methods are used.
Where To Use Hyper Concentrates
Although used primarily by Commercial Users, all types of vehicles can be cleaned
using Hyper Concentrate TFR’s. Note: Always follow the manufacturers mixing instructions
and never leave to dry on surface.
Where NOT to use Hyper Concentrates
Due to the high Alkaline content make-up of Hyper Concentrates, it is not recommended
they are used on sensitive surfaces such as Caravans, Motorhomes, Bikes etc.
